Built for Dancers Who Were Made to Stand Out

Broken Arrow Dancewear was born somewhere between healing and self-expression, built through music, movement, late nights, big emotions, and the quiet decision to create something beautiful out of chaos.

Founded by Andrea, Broken Arrow began as a creative escape and grew into a dancewear brand rooted in confidence, individuality, and community. With years of lived experience inside the dance world, Andrea understands the beauty, pressure, preparation, and emotion that come with dance life, from costume needs and competition prep to the moments behind the scenes that shape every performance.

Today, Broken Arrow Dancewear offers ready-to-wear dancewear, competition essentials, and custom dance costumes designed to help dancers feel confident, supported, and uniquely themselves.

Based in the East Valley and growing from strong local relationships, Broken Arrow is becoming a trusted resource for dancewear, custom costumes, and support for dancers and dance moms who want a more personal experience.

“Every costume I create is designed to support the dancer—not just how it looks, but how it moves and feels on stage.”

ANDREA, FOUNDER

Andrea, Founder of Broken Arrow Dancewear with group of dancers, creating dancewear for dancers in Gilbert, Chandler, and the East Valley.

My name’s Andrea, and Broken Arrow is deeply personal to me.

This brand was built from real life: years in the dance world, navigating grief, reinvention, motherhood, and the desire to create something meaningful from the pieces life handed me. What started as a way to process, create, and express myself became something much bigger: a place where dancers could find pieces that helped them feel strong, beautiful, and unapologetically themselves.

Dance has always been more than costumes and competition. It is confidence, identity, discipline, escape, and expression. Every piece I create or curate is rooted in that belief.

Broken Arrow Dancewear was created for dancers who want more than something that simply fits.

Whether you are shopping for ready-to-wear dancewear, searching for competition essentials, or dreaming up a custom costume, the goal is the same: to create a personal experience where dancers feel seen, supported, confident, and unique.

You are not just another order number here. You are a dancer with a story, a routine, a style, and a reason for stepping onto that stage. Broken Arrow exists to help you feel prepared, expressive, and fully yourself when you do.

From studio rehearsals to competition weekends, Broken Arrow Dancewear supports dancers in the moments that matter most. Our shop includes ready-to-wear dancewear, leotards, tops, bottoms, accessories, and competition essentials for dancers who want pieces that feel expressive, practical, and performance-ready.

For dancers, soloists, teams, and studios looking for something one-of-a-kind, our custom dance costume experience brings creative visions to life with thoughtful detail, movement-friendly design, and a deep respect for the dancer wearing it.

Every dancer deserves to feel confident in what they wear, whether they are training, performing, competing, or stepping into a piece that finally feels like them.

Broken Arrow Dancewear serves dancers, dance parents, soloists, teams, and studios looking for expressive, high-quality dancewear and custom costume design.

Whether you are preparing for a recital, competition season, photoshoot, convention, or a standout solo performance, Broken Arrow is here to help you find or create something that supports the movement, emotion, and story behind the routine.

At its core, Broken Arrow Dancewear is about confidence. Not performative confidence. Real confidence. The kind that helps a dancer walk into the studio, step backstage, or take the floor knowing they belong there.

Our work is shaped by creativity, resilience, motherhood, and a deep love for the dance community. Every costume, every detail, and every client interaction is handled with care because this work is personal. It matters because dancers matter.

What We Believe

Behind the Scenes

Every custom costume at Broken Arrow is created through a hands-on, detail-focused process that goes far beyond the finished look on stage.

Each project begins with a thoughtful review of your inquiry, where we consider the dancer, choreography, music, and overall vision. From there, designs are developed with movement, fit, and performance in mind. Fabric selection, color, and construction are all chosen intentionally to ensure the costume not only looks beautiful, but functions seamlessly during rehearsals and competition.

As the process moves forward, measurements, fittings, and adjustments help refine the final piece. This stage is just as important as the design itself, allowing each costume to be tailored to the individual dancer for comfort, security, and confidence on stage.

Behind every finished costume is time, care, and a deep understanding of what dancers need in real performance settings. It is a process built on creativity, communication, and attention to detail from start to finish.
